The crew over at Sourcebasen have recently posted an interview with our very own Marcus "zet" Sundstrom. The interview which is primarily in Swedish, but is translated into English further down the page, talks about zets new life here in the United States and what it was like when he first got here. It also talks about his relationship with his teamates and his plans for the future. Below is an excerpt:
-
SB: Your team have proved it's worth several times the last two years and pretty much dominated your branch in the CGS, what is your recipe for success?
zet: Alot of practice and good players.
SB: You were known for your aggressive play in 1.6 both on defending and attacking side. Is this something you have been able to bring with you to CS:S and how is your individual play now different from the zet we used to see "holding lobby" on nuke?
zet: Haha, yepp im pretty aggressive still! In source its alot about being aggressive and taking the first move. So it fits me even more.
SB: In Europe we've always been under the impression that American teams have a relatively "simple" approach towards team play and tend to rely more on individual performances than advanced strategies. Is this true and how has that suited your own play style?
zet: Not really, I think it is probably from ingame leader to ingame leader. We got 5 strong players so it often comes to one player getting a few frags.
SB: You are currently training for the upcoming season of CGS, what does a normal workday/night look like in the villa?
zet: Wake up at around 3pm, take a shower. Getting ready for scrim at 6pm then we scrim until 11-12 ;D
